The challenge

Priscilla is a singing artist, a vocalist and a child care specialist. Her work spans music and children, so her site had to carry both without feeling like two businesses. She needed an artist-first layout with a brand that was hers, and she needed to own it outright.

What I did

  • Built a brand kit in rose pink, rose gold and a hint of lilac, so the site reads as her and stands out.
  • Designed an artist-first site in the style of an established artist’s home page, adapted to her niche and brand.
  • Used her real name, Priscilla Lyle, across the homepage so visitors find the person, not only the stage name.
  • Added a Learn section linking to GC Academy and Kempbell Academy, where she will teach grades 1–5 music courses, starting with reading music aligned to Texas TEKS (coming soon).
  • Set the site up so she holds full ownership and governance, with a repeatable setup walkthrough covering the repository, domain and hosting.

Why it matters

A site only works for an artist if she can run it herself. Handing over the code, the domain and the hosting from day one means her brand grows on her schedule, and the same walkthrough now becomes a kit I can use for future client builds.
